What is your evaluation of the proposal?
+1! This makes it so much more consistent and easier to reason with

Is the problem being addressed significant enough to warrant a change to Swift?
Yes. I have also heard some students have trouble understanding the current behavior

Does this proposal fit well with the feel and direction of Swift?
Completely. More so than the current way

If you have used other languages or libraries with a similar feature, how do you feel that this proposal compares to those?
This makes swift more like swift than ObjC

How much effort did you put into your review? A glance, a quick reading, or an in-depth study?
Quick reading but enough to understand the problem and proposal
