I don't want to turn this thread into a discussion about out
parameters, but one reason would be to replace
AutoreleasingUnsafeMutablePointer.  Another one is to add labels to
the output parameters:

let (day, month, year) = parseDate()
let (year, day, month) = parseDate() // bug?
