The ~/.bashrc file is a hidden file in your home directory. In Linux/*nix
land, ~ always points to your local repository; for instance, on a Mac, ~
will typically point to /Users/YOUR_USERNAME, and ~/.bashrc would be
/Users/YOUR_USERNAME/.bashrc
